Getting Around
Getting around the front-side of the island couldn’t be easier. There are regular buses that run the main road from Skiathos Town all the way down to Koukounaries with stops at practically every beach. You can buy a ticket on the bus (have some cash handy), unless you’re at the terminus in Skiathos town, where you can buy from the little ticket kiosk.

Taxis
If you’re not about that bus life, taxis are an easy and convienient way to get arount the island. You can get them from the taxi rank in Skiathos Town or flag them down as they travel up and down the island.
See the best bits.
If you stick to taxis and buses, you’re going to miss out on some amazing, peaceful spots. On the backside of the island, there’s a few beaches you can reach by road and a whole heap of them accessible by small tracks/mountain roads. We strongly recommend renting a quad-bike, buggy or Suzuki Jimny to explore the pine forests and some of the harder to reach beaches.
There’s plenty of rental options on the island with the majority of rental companies in Skiathos Town but if you’re after a Suzuki Jimny, try and book as far in advance as possible!
OK, so we can get around but where should we eat?!
I don’t know why your questions are so aggressive but don’t worry, we’ve got you covered! There’s always new places popping up around the town but we’ve listed a few special places we’ve enjoyed before for you to try out.
